Handedness

Enjoy PlayStation games with one hand using the Akaki One-Handed Attachment, designed specifically for the PlayStation DualShock 4 controller. The innovative snap-on attachment allows you to play your favorite games with just one hand, without any modifications to your existing controller. Available for both left and right-handed gamers.

*Please note that a controller is not included.

How it works

Hold the controller with one hand, and rest the ball at the bottom of the controller on a table or your lap. By moving the controller and dragging on the rubber ball, you control the secondary thumbstick. To push buttons, reach for the button extensions that bring all face and shoulder buttons close to your fingertips.

The attachment snaps onto your PS4 controller

  • Easy access to all face and shoulder buttons with button extensions

Components

Handedness

Left and right handed versions are mirror images of each other. Photos and diagrams on this page are a mix of both versions. Please specify your handedness when ordering:

😁🤚 If you use your left hand to play, choose For left-handed use

😁 If you use your right hand to play, choose For right-handed use

Flexibility

Customize your play style.

The attachment has four main components: the bottom mount, the stick mover, the button extensions, and the leg strap. You can choose to use different combinations of these.

If you prefer to move both thumbsticks with your fingers, you can leave the thumbstick mover off. If you push on the face buttons in a different way, you can leave the top half of the attachment off. For more control and comfort, attach the leg strap.

Try remapping the buttons layout to your liking in PlayStation's system settings. Once you have settled on a button layout that is comfortable for you, you can glue on the included button labels to indicate the new layout.

PlayStation face button labels
The right-handed item includes the XO口Δ labels, and the left-handed item includes the arrow buttons. Use a drop of super glue or similar to stick them on.

Finally, to adjust the thumbstick centering force, use the included elastic band.

Cautions

DualShock 4 controller is not included.

The top half of the attachment covers the touchpad partially. You might only be able to push on the corners of the touchpad.

Option and Share buttons can be hard to reach.

The attachment covers the headphone jack.

The color might vary, depending on what color plastic is available. Most of our stock is black, white, and gray.

Design Updates

The design has been updated over time to improve functionality and user experience. Some videos and photos may show previous models. Key updates include a more grippy roller design, and an improved thumbstick moving mechanism.
